Product photos come from the maker and are taken under studio lighting, and each phone or monitor renders the same color a little differently, so an apricot henley or a blue plaid can look warmer or cooler at home than on the screen. A shade that is slightly off is normal for photographed clothing, whereas a color far from the photos, such as a blue plaid that arrives green, is treated as not as described.

Measured flat by the maker

The charts on 44 listings give garment measurements taken with the top lying flat, in inches and centimeters, and they carry the maker’s usual tolerance, which is 0.5-1 inch either way (1-2.5 cm). When a henley chart lists a bust of 37.8 inches and the top measures 37.0 inches at home, it sits inside that allowance; at 36.4 inches it is 1.4 inches short, past the 1.25 inches (3 cm) that makes a top not as described, and a top that far off is covered by the not-as-described section of the Refund and Returns Policy. JNT-PL-014 has no chart, so it is judged on its written details.

Described from the maker’s labels

Fiber content, the stretch rating and the fit line on each listing are copied from the maker, and JennsThreads adds no claims of its own to them. One listing, JNT-PL-005, carries two different fiber statements from the maker and its description shows both, because picking one would mean guessing. The care label sewn into the top has the final word on washing and drying.
