Order Tracking
Effective date: October 13, 2026
A top coming from China spends 13-16 business days between the order day and the door, so this page shows how to check where an order stands at each point of that trip and when it is time to ask for help.
Looked up with the order ID and billing email
The form below asks for the order ID, printed in the confirmation email, and for the email address entered at checkout, and it then shows the status that JennsThreads holds for the order.
Posted on the carrier’s site within 3 business days
The tracking code arrives in the dispatch email at the moment the carrier scans the package. The carrier’s own website may need as long as 3 business days before that first scan appears, and when a US carrier takes over for the last leg, the same tracking code keeps working, so nothing new has to be entered.
Shown as one of four statuses
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Processing | paid and waiting at the partner’s warehouse to be packed |
| On hold | paused while the payment is checked |
| Completed | handed to the carrier, with the tracking code in the dispatch email |
| Refunded | money sent back by JennsThreads; a bank or PayPal may need as many as 10 further business days before the credit appears |
Followed day by day for the sample order
The sample order of the Waffle Knit Henley Tunic Top and the Oversized Plaid Button Down Shirt, paid at 3:15 PM Eastern Time on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, shows Processing until the carrier scans it on Thursday, November 19 or Friday, November 20, and Completed from that scan onward. Its tracking code then follows the package to the door, where it arrives between Tuesday, December 8 and Friday, December 11, since Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 26, is not counted.
Traced after 7 business days without a scan
When 7 business days go by with no new scan on the tracking code, an email with the order ID to customer care starts a trace with the carrier. If the trace is still empty 10 business days later, the customer chooses between a second top and the full amount back.
Reported within 14 days of a delivered scan
A delivered scan sometimes appears before the package actually reaches the door, so the customer should wait 2 business days and check mailrooms, porches and neighbors first. A package that is still missing after that should be reported within 14 days of the delivered scan, and the Shipping Policy explains the claim that follows.
