Buying a JennsThreads top means making an agreement with SHANA LEIGH GOODELL FUNY LLC for goods that leave a partner’s warehouse in China, so these terms set out who that company is and what each side owes the other.

The seller on every order is SHANA LEIGH GOODELL FUNY LLC, EIN 99-4782629, which trades under the name JennsThreads and has its business address at 567 Palm Dr S, Aiken, SC 29803, United States. Wherever these terms say JennsThreads, they refer to that company, and wherever they say the customer, they refer to any person who browses jennsthreads.com or orders from it.

Formed when the order confirmation email is sent

A completed checkout counts as the customer’s offer to purchase the tops in the cart at the prices displayed, and the order confirmation email accepts it, which is the moment the contract begins. If JennsThreads later finds that it cannot fill the order, for example because a size has sold out at the partner, the address turns out to be outside the delivery area or a price was plainly wrong, the customer hears about it by email and the money for anything not supplied is returned in full.

Charged in full at the time of ordering

The full amount is charged when the order is placed. Accepted payment methods, card holds and discount code rules all come from the Payment Policy, which binds as part of this agreement.

Limited to buyers aged 18 or older

Orders may only be placed by people who are at least 18, or older where a state sets a higher age of majority, and the tops are sold for personal use or as gifts, not for resale. An order placed for resale, or by someone under that age, may be canceled with a full refund.

Used in good faith for personal shopping

The site is there for browsing and buying tops. Scraping product pages with bots, trying out stolen cards, ordering under someone else’s identity and attempting to break into the back end of the site are all forbidden, and any order linked to such activity may be canceled and refunded, with the visitor blocked from the site afterward.

Described with the maker’s details and charts

Each listing reproduces the style, color, fiber content, fit notes and size chart supplied by the maker, and 44 of the 45 listings include that chart. Screen color and measuring tolerance are covered in the Disclaimer, and the remedies for a top that does not match its listing, all at the company’s expense, are in the Refund and Returns Policy.

Priced in US dollars and subject to stock

Listed prices are in US dollars and may move at any time, but a paid order keeps its price once the confirmation email has gone out. The stock belongs to the fulfillment partner and can run out between payment and packing, in which case the choices described in the Shipping Policy apply.

Canceled within 12 hours for a full refund

A customer may cancel during the first 12 hours after checkout by sending the order ID by email or giving it on a call, and the full payment is returned within 3 business days. After 12 hours the partner may already be packing, so the order runs its course and the top can be returned once it has been delivered.

Shipped, returned and refunded under separate policies

Delivery areas, times and charges are governed by the Shipping Policy, and returns, refunds and claims for damaged, faulty or wrong tops by the Refund and Returns Policy. Both pages are part of these terms, and where one of them is more specific than this page, its wording applies.

Protected as the store’s own content

The text, page layouts, policy pages and the JennsThreads name belong to SHANA LEIGH GOODELL FUNY LLC, and the product photos belong to the company or to the makers and partners that supplied them. Reusing any of this material for another store, an advertisement or a marketplace listing requires written permission, while a plain link to a page needs none.

Written only by verified buyers

When product reviews are open, only a customer who bought the top can post one, so every rating rests on an actual purchase. JennsThreads does not pay or reward anyone for a review, does not write reviews itself and does not remove a review for being critical, in line with the FTC rule on consumer reviews and testimonials.

Excused when events beyond control intervene

A late package is not a breach of these terms when the cause lies outside the company’s control, such as a hurricane, a carrier strike, a customs hold, a closed airport, a power or network failure or a government order. The customer care team still emails a new date in such cases, and the customer may cancel for a full refund instead of waiting.

Provided with the warranties the law requires

Each top is promised to match its listing, and a top that falls short is put right through the Refund and Returns Policy. Apart from that promise and the warranties a seller is not allowed to exclude, JennsThreads gives no further warranty, and where the law allows, implied promises about merchantability and about suitability for a particular use are excluded.

Capped at the amount paid for the order

The total liability of JennsThreads under an order cannot exceed the amount the customer paid for that order, so the cap for the $70.88 sample order is $70.88 plus any sales tax charged. Indirect and consequential losses are not covered, and neither this cap nor that exclusion applies where the law forbids them, for instance to fraud.

Indemnified against misuse of the site

Anyone who breaks these terms agrees to cover the losses, claims and reasonable legal fees that JennsThreads incurs as a result, such as the costs that follow a chargeback on a stolen card or the removal of copied content from another site.

Settled by email first, for 30 days

A dispute is first raised in writing: the customer emails contact@jennsthreads.com with the order ID, JennsThreads writes to the email address on the order, and both sides give the matter 30 days before any court filing. No arbitration clause appears anywhere in this agreement, and a small claims court can hear a case brought by either side.

Governed by South Carolina law and heard in Aiken County

The laws of South Carolina govern these terms. Lawsuits are brought in a state court in Aiken County, South Carolina, or in the United States District Court for the District of South Carolina, although a customer keeps any right that the consumer law of the customer’s home state gives to sue there.

Linked to payment and carrier websites

Payments pass through Stripe or PayPal and packages through independent carriers, and each of those companies applies its own terms to its service. Their websites, and any hours when those websites are down, are outside the control of JennsThreads.

Kept in force if one clause fails

If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, that part is narrowed only as far as necessary, and the rest of the terms stays in effect.

Combined into one agreement with the order emails

The whole agreement for an order consists of three documents read together: this page, the order confirmation email and the policy pages listed in the site footer.

Changed only with a new effective date

JennsThreads may revise these terms, and each revision carries a new effective date. Orders placed from that date onward follow the revised text, and an order already placed keeps the terms that were published on its order day.
